Who is Dane?

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Dane's journey in soccer has taken him from the desert to the mountains of Colorado, where he now plays for the Colorado Switchbacks First Team. At just 18 years old, Dane has made his professional debut, having played twice in the US Open Cup.

His path hasn't just been about athletic development. Since moving out on his own at 16, Dane has learned to balance the demands of professional training with the responsibilities of independent living. Cooking his own meals, managing his daily routines, and navigating life without a safety net has shaped the discipline and maturity that define him both on and off the field.

Academically, Dane has maintained a 3.7 GPA while taking his high school classes online, including college-level AP courses. He's developed the ability to lead his own learning through a mix of synchronous and asynchronous coursework, proving that his commitment to excellence extends beyond soccer.

At the foundation of it all is Dane's Christian faith, which provides him with confidence, perspective, and a deep sense of gratitude. It's what keeps him grounded as he pursues his goals and reminds him that his journey is about more than just personal achievement: it's about growing as a person and making the most of the opportunities he's been given.

Dane is at an important stage in his development and is striving to become a regular first-team player at the highest level he can.
